All of our work at ARAA revolves around our Mission to improve EMS in Arkansas.
These Grants must directly benefit EMS Services within the Associations Membership.
Grant proposals are accepted through a Request for Proposals process which aligns with our application guidelines.
ARAA Grants
Rural Health Transformation Project - RHTP
Arkansas proposes a comprehensive, statewide transformation of its rural Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system aligned with the CMS Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program. The plan modernizes infrastructure, stabilizes and rebuilds the EMS workforce, integrates behavioral health response, and expands Mobile Integrated Health (MIH), Community Paramedicine (CP), and Treatment in Place (TIP) models. Collectively, these initiatives reposition EMS from a reactive transport function to a proactive, community-based healthcare partner, ensuring equitable access to high-quality emergency and preventive care across all 75 Arkansas counties.
EMS Development Grant Fund
The needs of EMS are great and unfortunately, funding under this program will in no way meet those needs entirely. We ask that you assist us in allocating these funds by applying for equipment and materials that you intend to purchase in the coming year.
